Creating a design system built for insight analysis and serious play.
Remode is a consultancy led by innovation strategist Simon Rycroft. The design approach draws from the brand proposition ‘Find Confidence in Understanding’.
The identity leads with a dense wordmark paired with an editorially-led typographic system and a bold colour palette. A mix of two headline typefaces are utilised throughout the brand – Helvetica Neue Condensed for the compressed character's energy in making a point, balanced by Pangram Pangram Foundry's Editorial New, a narrow serif with a big enough personality to tell a story. Alongside the more expressive typefaces, PP Neue Montreal, acts as a neutral body type – a sans serif that is clean, clear, and accessible. The result is a design system built for insight analysis and serious play.
